"Bombay is a place where brushing your teeth with unbottled water can bring you to your knees...where nineteen million inhabitants go to work simultaneously...into this insanity of a gridlocked city comes the monsoon....strong, constant, devastating, coming down in huge sheets that are impenetrable and ferocious.
Think of that – pouring rain, day in and day out, for five months – in a city crammed with people who can't leave, who don't want to leave, who see no reason to leave...”
